Yesterday I felt like a Clue character. Or a regal professor.
On a side note, I wikipediaed Clue and found out that everywhere outside of North America, Clue is called Cluedo. It was created in England, so that means Cluedo is the real name. 'Clue' is a lie! My world is turned upside down.

I am in love with B's cardigan. I would wear it in a heartbeat if it were Julia-sized. He got it from Mr. Porter, so I checked on Net-a-Porter, but they didn't have anything similar with the big boxy pockets and the leather details. Boooo

On B:                                                   On J:

  2. Love the colours you're wearing and B's cardigan. Tbh you could just steal it and wear it as an oversized cardigan, heehee!

Why would they change Cluedo to Clue? How odd. I quite like Cluedo, I can beat my fiancé really easily unlike with Scrabble...

  6. Heh, I bet you would find that with a lot of US vs rest-of-the-world terminology. Your world might be continuously rotating if you started digging into that.

For instance, and this is not quite the same, but here in Australia, we have 'Where's Wally', not Waldo. But I'm pretty sure that other countries also have Waldo. So that makes us weird, I guess. Also, Odlaw is still called Odlaw, so it doesn't really make sense.

    On another note, red corduroy!

    1. I think they call it "Clue" in Canada too though!
And it's funny because I usually consider myself to be at least somewhat relatively well-versed in US-vs-rest-of-the-world terminology (at least for an American, I guess haha), but I suppose it's more for every day type things, and not things like brands or commercial things like boardgames. The Wikipedia page told me that Americans changed it to "Clue" because it's based on the game "Ludo," which is called "Parcheesi" in the US (which, if you ask me, has always been one of those words I just don't like saying out loud...like "moist". I vote we bring in "Ludo"!). Okay, I'm ranting now.

    2. I ALWAYS WONDERED what parcheesi was.
I used to play Ludo at my grandma's all the time! Memories! Never picked up on its similarity to Cluedo, though...

I totally didn't mean to imply you were an ignorant American.
      =D

  9. Cluedo sounds like so much fun, I wonder who's idea it was to slim it down. Loving all the shades of your outfit. B's sweater rocks! The brown buttons the leather detailing, the texture just perfect.
