would be valentine

DSC_6221 DSC_6266

Thanks for the overwhelming response to my Warby Parker post. Holy geez, 90 comments opinions! I did ask for it I suppose. I ended up going with the Preston in sandalwood matte.

This is what I what have worn on Valentine's Day if I hadn't been holed up in my apartment all day finishing a summary report for my practicum.  I literally did not go outside at all that day. We had to cancel our dinner reservations and everything. Instead I wore the dress I was going to wear for V-day yesterday. It's corduroy! On a separate note, I need tips for maintaining photo quality when shooting red things. There's always so much noise unless I want to lose detail in the red item. Any suggestions?

  2. You look really purty :) My Valentine's day was equally as rubbish, if it's any consolation - spent revising for exams...rubbish. Regardless of photo issues, red really is your colour!

  9. Grrl, whatchu talkin! These pictures are ace. I love how you paired the loafers with the dress for the perfect vintage-not-too-saccharine look. Hope you and the boy made belated Valentine's Day plans. That's what me and my boyfriend did because I found myself in a similar predicament to yours.

  13. I completely love these photos, they are moody and dramatic, so no apologies! And corduroy is one of the world's great fabrics. : )
