YES TO CAPES.
yes.
yes.
yes.
This isn't really a classic cape, but it's meant to be worn as such, or at least I assume so because it's a strange, non-rectangular shape (which isn't apparent in these photos). I've never felt more elegant or tasteful than when wearing a cape.
I would normally avoid wearing red at all costs (for a number of reasons), but I chose to make an exception (really, I did! Because this cape is reversible and I could have worn the gray side) because when I put it on, I instantly became Ultimate Matador Lady Extraordinaire!**
**minus the brutal and unnecessary animal cruelty.
Obligatory Beirut song:
On J:
corduroy blouse:: thrifted
pants:: second hand via Rumors Boutique
shoes:: thrifted
cape:: Florentine street vendor
Haha the Beirut song is a great accompaniment to this post. Pretty sweet cape, you could pair this with so many different outfits but the simplicity of this one is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteI like the cape, and i don't normally, but this one is pretty great, plus anything grey is a winner of course.
ReplyDeletei'm pro capes, does it have a smuggler's pocket?
ReplyDelete@ Mat- I don't know what a smuggler's pocket is, but it has no pockets. Now I wish it did :(
